Project Overview
We produced these social videos along with nonsense in collaboration with AXA and LFC. One film featuring AXA positivity ambassador, Amy Conroy, and LFCW Assistant Manager, Amber Whiteley, as they discuss the rise of women’s football, the importance of support, and how they use their roles to empower players, fans, and friends. The other featured Colm Smith, the Strength and Conditioning Coach for LFC Women’s Team, sharing his tips for setting and maintaining goals.
The Challenge
The challenge was to create engaging, authentic social videos that highlighted the growth of women’s football while providing practical and inspiring advice. The films needed to balance two key objectives, celebrating inclusivity and community within the sport, and offering actionable guidance for viewers on maintaining focus, motivation, and goal-setting. Ensuring that both messages came across naturally, without feeling forced or promotional, required careful planning and sensitivity.
Our Approach
Our approach was rooted in authenticity: creating a relaxed, conversational environment that allowed our subjects to speak honestly and naturally. By focusing on clear storytelling and concise messaging, we ensured that each film felt approachable, engaging, and genuinely inspiring for the audience.
Outcome
The resulting films successfully highlighted the work being done to encourage girls to play football and support the growth of women’s football. They delivered practical guidance and personal insight in an engaging format, while celebrating inclusivity, teamwork, and empowerment within the sport.
